The Sheth Family Foundation is a non-profit entity funded by Professor Jagdish N. Sheth and his wife Madhu Sheth. Established in 2008, the Foundation fosters education, wellness and sustainability in the United States and India, specifically in metro Atlanta, the Indian community and via renowned universities. Individually and together, the Sheths contribute to more than 60 501(c)(3) organizations and events that, in turn,

positively impact the lives of thousands of people. These organizations include the American India Foundation, Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation and the Akshya Patra Foundation. It also includes the Carter Center, the American Cancer Society, the Ashoka Fellowship, CARE, Emory University, the University of Illinois, the University of Pittsburgh, the Jain Community in Atlanta, the Raksha Foundation, the American Red Cross and United Way.

Sheth Fellowship | Emory University

Total grants to doctoral students reached $100,000 for the 100th Ph.D student and on the 100th Anniversary of the Goizueta Business School! Since its inception in 2004, this year the total number of awardees has reached 100 doctoral students!

Through the generosity of Prof. Jagdish and Mrs. Madhu Sheth, doctoral students are the Goizueta Business School of Emory University may receive an additional $1,000 each in dissertation support. The award, named the Sheth Fellowship, is extended to each student who successfully passes their comprehensive exam, a major milestone in the life of being a doctoral student. Students may use this for research support for things such as purchasing or collecting data, purchasing software or running experiments, or for travel and training opportunities.
